To ensure your website is available online 24 hours a day, 365 days a year your site will be 'hosted' on a fast and reliable web server based at a state-of-the-art data centre in the UK. All sights are load-balanced to boost performance and reliability for busy websites.

Dynamic content and interactivity are usually provided by a database. Again, different databases suit different applications and we use only industry standard MS SQL or MySQL.

Linux (Red Hat) Hosting
Websites requiring Linux support run on the reliable and widely used combination of Red Hat Enterprise Server and Apache's httpd web server with full support for PHP and Perl scripting plus full ODBC/DSN database connectivity for MS SQL and MySQL.

WebStats give you both real-time and historical information on the visitors to your website. You can find out how many people are visiting your site and which pages are viewed most or least.

Email services
Included in the annual hosting charge is our full email service which allows you to have unlimited (POP3) email accounts at your domain.

Web Mail will enable you to read or compose email on any of your email accounts, anywhere in the world, so long as you have an internet connected web browser. Also included in our service:
Virus scanning: Checks all incoming messages.

Spam filtering: Stop unsolicited commercial email.

SMS email alerts: Our systems will send a text message detailing who sent the email and what the subject is.

Hosting - Prices
Hosting varies according to a website's requirements and the variety of options available determines the overall costs involved. In all cases there is an initial set-up £50 set-up fee to allow us to configure the various services and set-up your email accounts.

Hosting space is generally limited to 2GB - more than enough for the vast majority of normal business websites. Bandwidth allowance, the data flow to and from your website, is set to be around 5Gb, again, plenty for a normal website. Websites expecting to exceed witther of these will need specifi packages applied.

Basic annual hosting starts at £15 +VAT per month.
